A very special visitor

Holly dressing up Emme

Emme went pee pee on the potty for the first time bc aunt holly asked her to. We need her back here!!! =)

I love me some family time!

We are unfortunately so far away from them being here in Texas.

SO - Whenever we hear were going on vacation or someone comes here to see us (bless their heart) we of course get so very excited!

My older Sister, Holly, was able to visit us for 2 WHOLE WEEKS!!

That's super swell and all but the challenge of the visit was what to show her and go visit while in Texas.

ANYTHING entertaining to do in Texas is at least an hour and a half away from where we live.

Even though we can entertain ourselves with good conversation I still wanted to have some outings planned.

We decided to be brave and take a road trip to San Antonio and spend the weekend there.

It. was. hot.

Did I say hot??

I meant to say Blazing Balls.

We got into San Antonio Friday night and ate at a cute little mariachi band Mexican place on the Riverwalk.

We got into our hotel late Friday night (my scheduled toddler was an absolute trooper) and crashed into bed soon after.

The next day was spent at Sea World when the heat was the absolute worst!

We were determined to have a good trip though and just bare through it.

It was very much worth it. We kept the toddler wet the whole day and we kept cool by trying to hop from AC to AC at Sea World.

Later that night we spent the night at an AFB and had a crazy room- scratch that- house that had four bedrooms! All for $45 a night!! The Airforce is amazing with those things.

The next day we headed back to Cove and a few days later we said goodbye to Holly. The days in-between going out was filled with gym time and a bunch of laying out at the pool. We had THE most amazing time with her while she was down and I am eternally grateful to have had that time with her and her have time with Emmelyn.

She is doing so well with her life and I couldn't be more proud of her.

Thank you X's a million for coming to see little ol' us! I love you!
