Now.. where was I?

About 3 days after I started my Diet at the beginning of the year I found out that I was pregnant!
Needless to say, the diet was short lived.

I am proud to say that NOW I am starting the weight loss journey Alllll over again.

Sigh

I did it before after I had Miss Emmelyn (a nice 50 lbs lost)
I can (and will) do it again.

So, here I am.
On a Tuesday
BEFORE the holidays
without weighing myself first (scale needs batteries)
BUT I did it.
I made the commitment today and I will stick with it until I am down to my goal weight!

I honestly did miss the gym so very much so it's a welcomed change of lifestyle

:D

Wish me luck!!

Stay tuned for updates

... it's time to get my sexy back

; )

Babies in Jammies

Baby Blessing

What a blessed Sunday we had!

Miss Charlee Maeh received a very special Baby Blessing in Church by her sweet Daddy.
I wrote down what we could both remember from the blessing in her baby book so we will never forget.

It was a very special day we will remember forever

Halloween 2011

I can't forget about one of my favorite Holidays!
I LOVE the Fall
The leaves changing
The smell of Pumpkin candles
&
Jacket and scarf season!

We picked our pumpkins this year at a cute little Church festival.
Emme was on a mission looking for the perfect size baby pumpkin for Sissy.

Miss Sass looking for Pumpkins : )

Just like last year, she loved all the baby pumpkins and wanted to take them all home

Waiting in line for her pony ride

"Patches" the pony
*which she still talks about. almost daily.

How pretty is this girl??

Face painting!

Her exorcist looking "Dora" haha

My beautiful family <3

After carving the pumpkins we had a potluck BBQ and of course S'mores!

Papa and Emmers

Emme and Avery being too cute!!

We all had an absolute blast and made tons of memories!
I love my family

New Orleans Zoo

We decided to make a day of it down in New Orleans.
After the race, we ate a DELICIOUS breakfast at a cute little restaurant Downtown, then headed for the Zoo! We have season passes so we try and use them as much as possible. The Zoo is gorgeous and there is always tons to do : )

Emmers and Daddy touching an Elephant

They feel exactly how you would imagine. But hairy.
So cool!

White Bengal Tiger
Gorgeous!

Papa taking a turn with Char

She looks like a baby doll : )

This guy was my favorite! He was enormous and really seemed like he dug the crowd that he drew in. The baby in the barrel started to mess around with Dad and pulled his hair while hanging on his back. It was cute how they played, very human like.

Handsome feller

It seemed like all the Monkeys were "posing" for pictures that day..

Emme watching the Orangutang family

They also had a new Dinosaur exhibit that had mechanical Dinosaurs in their own enclosure. I was more excited than Emme to check it out because growing up, I got to see "real" Dinosaurs at the Zoo I went to. It brought back some good memories. And of course, Emmers LOVED it. She was timid at first, but she is very intrigued with Dinosaurs so it didn't take long to warm up to them. Very cool exhibit : )

We had a very fun FULL day in Nawlins'
It is such a joy to live so close to such a beautiful piece of America.
We love it here!

New Orleans Jazz Marathon

On October 29th, Eric participated in his very first Half Marathon!
13.1 miles

Papa, Emme, Charlee and I went along for support.
We met Eric at 2 different points in the race to cheer him on!

It was the coldest morning we have had so far so we were bundled up pretty well.
Here is E patiently waiting to see Daddy

Emmers cheered on the runners
"Good job, guys!"
She also kept telling them
"You're not my Dad, where's my Dad??"
She was a crack up.

We found him :)

Hi Daddy!

Babe finished the race in 1:54.11. at a 8:43 pace.
That's a whole 6 minutes off his goal time!

Eric's Dad showing us what he used to protect his nips.
The only band aid we had were Dora's :)

E proudly wearing Daddy's metal

We are all so proud of you and the time spent to train and prepare for this challenge. What a relief it's over, right? ;)
We < 3 you!

Oh yeah, the foot stress fracture that you achieved in the race was pretty bad ass as well.
