You didn't tell me
You told me about the commanders and their lovely wives.
You told me about the chain of commmand, and how i would live by it.
But you didn't tell me how proud of you i would be.
You told me about the temporary duty and many moves.
You told me about overseas tours.
You told me about payday, and how we would stretch the dollar.
You didn't tell me about the honor i would feel.
You told me about the wives' club and family support.
You told me about tricare.
You told me about base housing, and how no two are alike.
You didn't tell me that at the start of "God bless the USA" I would shed not one, but many tears.
You told me about how Christmas would be in Germany.
You told me about the commissary and PX.
You told me we would need many sets of curtains.
You didn't tell me how our children would look up to you, and want to be like Dad.
You told me about the hard times and how we would have many.
You told me about the stress of being a military spouse.
You told me sometimes i would be a single parent, and that in spirit you would be with me.
But you didn't tell me that when i saw your uniform in the laundry, i would swell with respect.
You didn't tell me how much of a part the military would play in our lives and how i would never want it any other way!

My new book
I thought it would be interesting to read, but the timing couldn't be more off. I thought i was doing myself a favor by staying away from the romance books but this one takes the cake! I do recommend it, just make sure your hubby is near by to reasure that everything will be okay and it's all worth it! lol just a tip....

Here are the following milestones she has hit!...
*She is able to sit up for 30 secs-1 min
* Pushes up on her hands and scoots herself around
*Sleeps about 4-5 hours at a time at night
* Loves other people other then Mom now
* Is def going to start teething ANY time now!
* Laughs without for no reason sometimes- it's so cute!
* Says words now like "Ba ba ba" ALLLLL day long =)
* Still talks every ones ear off, she has alot to say...
* In size 3 diapers. In size 3-6 month clothes. Still don't know height and weight
* I am now thinking I want to breastfeed her longer then her first year. She went through a period where it was a struggle to feed her. Now she can't get enough!
* She eats cereal mixed with veggies or fruit one to two times a day
* I'm still doing the 4 B's..... Bath, Book, Boob, then Bed. I love that routine!
* Sleeps in bed with Mom for about half the night which I am starting not to mind.
* She is really becoming so fun and so quirky! I love her personality!!
California Trip - Part 2
On a friday night she cooked dinner at her place and had her mother-in-law over (what a fun loving person she was!) And we all watched a movie. Emme wasn't wanting to go to sleep while there so she watched the movie with us. It was an awesome girls night for sure. Here are some picstures of the game.....

All ready to go out on the boat!

So that was the first part of the trip.. from what the pics shows, Emme too, was exhausted from all that fun!
Woke up just at we arrived back home to Grandpa's house in Orange County.
